Ive decided im doing my emails in bullet points by day so i can fit more. At least for now, ill probably change my mind next week we'll see.
1st day! 👏
- last day with my fam. It was sad, but i was still soooo exited to get started!
-walked in and found my comp! I was going through the line to get my phone and i heard someone yell my name and it was sister federico! Quick hug and i got whisked away to grab my bags
- i found out i am very high maintenence. It took me and 4 sisters ( who didnt speak english ) to get my massive bags up the stairs. I felt so bad lol.
- me and sister federico adopted sister coil and made our own unofficial trio
- i found ella! ( sister wallis )🧡
- listen to what they say about the food here. Its disgustinggggg. But its fine ill live.
-my phone wouldnt work for the first 2 days so i couldnt tell my family i was alive. Kinda fun ( def realising how much i rely on my dad to do everything for me 😂)

Day 2!👏
- me and feds ( sis federico ) are gonna have to fight over our teacher. hes a baddie
( dont tell jesus i said that )
-i found kaitlyn!! ( sister andersen ) shes been here for like 2 months and this is her last week! So we just barely overlapped
-showed feds pictures of my friends and now she has a crush on one of them ( only the real ones get to know who )
- we had to teach a real life person. But we did so good. Teaching by the spirit is low key easy. ( i say with the fake confidence i gave myself )
- my district is hilarious and i love them. The boys low key act like they hate us half the time but they know they love us 😉
- we played uno! Shout out sister buckway for sneaking the cards in
Day 3 👏
- me and feds are living on donuts
- i was told to take my piercings out ( clear studs for the win )
- we went to the timpanogos temple! Better known as the timmytonga temple according to sister coil. It was so good! We did inititories and baptisms! I saw 2 ladies from my ward. One of them hugged me and i lost my cool ( bc i miss my mommy ) Queue the tears lol. On the way back we drove past 3 seperate turns to my house, the turn to my best friends house, and my brothers school. I was fighting the tears again lol.
-took cute pics outside the temple
-me and feds went to the store to get gum! But there was no gum so we settled for 40 dollar pink waterbottles. But theyre kinda matching and thats how we justified it.
-we climbed 6 flights of stairs straight while saying our missionary purpose. Not fun but the message behind it was good 😂
- our teacher taught us in a scottish accent
- the days feel soooo long here. But they also go by fast if that makes sense. Im having to journal twice a day to make sure i dont forget anything
Day 4! 👏
-started memorizing the lessons were gonna teach. And i realised i can memorize stuff fast. We had to speed teach it and for the 1st time in my life i didnt have any anxiety about talking in front of people.🤓
- i got hardcore judged by another sister from a diffrent district about my piercings. She didnt think i was raised in the church because i had them.
- I GOT TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL 🏐 literal highlight of my week lol. Its been forever since i got to play
-had a really good personal study!
- theres this elder me and feds are obsessed with. His name is elder lavender. We had to teach him about jesus and it was terrifying.
- my shoes are killinggg me feet so im breaking the rules and wearing my open back docs 😌
-the boys yell "3.1.4!!" Eveytime we talk to them because thats the number for the missionary standard " no flirting ". Its creative ill give it to them.
Day 5!!👏
- sunday!! The best day around here
-me and feds had to teach a little micro lesson in relief society. It went super well! We went into it with a lesson plan, but once we were up there it went straight out the window. Our topic was " conversion by the spirit" so we did our intro and then i shared an experience i was not planning to share, but i was promted to so i did! And it worked out perfectly.
- it was fast sunday so that means testimony meeting! This elder ( who was british ) shared his testimony and low key called us all out. He said " to all the people who are homesick, hate to break it to ya, but this is home now. Youre here, we all signed up for this, so just trust that god has you and get to work." I kinda needed to hear that haha.
- another thing i got out of church was to " go find the one thats lost" meaning there are people waiting for me to teach them. And if i stop now, they will never get to hear the joys of the gospel. So i have to keep going!
- " you need to lean on god to be able to feel him". God will always give you what you need, but you cant expect to get anything you dont work for
-We gave eachother cartoon characters that match our personalities. Feds is remy from ratatouille, sis coil is tiana ( frog version ), and im tigress from kung fu panda because i give " tom boy baddie energy" ( direct quote from feds )
-ive been slowly teaching feds asl and shes living for it.
- " moses was low key eating that pose up" you dont get context for that one
- we finally broke our fast and we muncheddd.
- the boys sat with us willingly for the first time in forever. We made them give us charecters that reminded them of us. Elder day ( our fav elder ever ❤️ ) said we remind him of the "Fairies" from sleeping beauty. Cry. Hes adorable.
- i love my district so much. Its crazy how close you can get with people in a short amount of time. We keep talking about how sad we are that were not all going to the same missions, and me and feds are already making plans for when (🤞) were companions again.
Ive learned soooo much being in the mtc. I can say with confidence that i know god is my loving heavenly father. And i promise that he loves you and he knows you. I miss my family. I miss my friends. But i know that i am exactly where i need to be, doing exactly what i need to do, and i know montana is the place i need to do it! " it wont be easy, but it will be worth it" So here we go, just 17 1/2 more months!
