This last Sunday Dave and I were called into the Bishops office by one of his counselors and were given callings. Dave was called as one of the Gospel Doctrine Teachers. He has done this before and is wonderful at it. I am very excited for him. As for me I was called to be the Advisor over the Mia Maid's and Laurels. I am so excited. Not to sound too weired but I feel like I have known something like this was coming for months. I felt like I was being prepared for something. And when I was called to this position I felt confirmation that this was it. I love the spirit and the truth it can bare!! I have been anticipating a calling like this for years because it talks about working with the youth in my patriarchal blessing a lot.
I got to meet about 9 of the 17 girls in my ward. What a great group of girls. I am really looking forward to my first mutual night tomorrow and my first chance to teach on Sunday. I think the reason I am so excited is because I will have a gospel related subject to study every week to bring back to the girls on Sunday, I have a feeling I will learn way more from them than the other way around.
